The role:

£28–£30 per hour
Monday to Friday
7:30 am start
8.5 hours on site, with 8 hours paid
6-month contract
Start date TBC

We’re looking for candidates with:

A recognised mechanical engineering qualification, such as HNC/HND, NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds Level 3
Relevant mechanical engineering or heating & ventilation qualifications
Previous experience as a Mechanical Fitter
Good awareness of health & safety
A valid driving licence
CSCS Gold Card
Thames Water Passport – training can be provided if required
Good physical fitness for the requirements of the role
Own mechanical fitting tools, including drills, sockets and spanners
Own PPE, including orange hi-vis

A vehicle and necessary equipment will be provided where required for the work.

Please note: travel time is not paid and accommodation is not provided, so candidates will need to be able to travel to the Thamesmead site.
