We are currently looking for a Semi-Skilled Operatives to work on a water treatment project in Reading.
The successful candidates will be working within aeration lanes, carrying out general mechanical and site-based duties including cleaning, removal of existing pipework and installation of new pipework.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Working within aeration lanes on a water treatment site.
- Cleaning and preparing work areas.
- Ripping out and removing existing pipework.
- Assisting with the installation of new pipework.
- Loading and moving removed pipework and materials into skips.
- General semi-skilled mechanical/site duties.
- Following site health & safety procedures at all times.
- Working as part of a team to ensure works are completed safely and efficiently.
Requirements
Candidates must have:
- Valid Confined Space (Medium Risk) certification (Training can be provided).
- Valid Thames Water Passport (Training can be provided).
- Valid CSCS Card.
- Previous water/wastewater treatment experience preferred.
- Previous pipework or mechanical experience.
- Full standard PPE.
- Full orange/high-visibility workwear.
- Steel toe-cap wellington boots.
